We are seeking a dependable and customer‑focused Counter Sales & Inventory Control Specialist to conduct sales and warehouse operations. This is a full-time, hands-on role ideal for someone with inventory and forklift experience who enjoys working directly with customers and vendors.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct counter sales and assist customers with orders
- Receive, inspect, and check in incoming inventory accurately
- Load customer orders safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Monitor inventory levels and run routine inventory reports
- Contact vendors for pricing, availability, and order placement
- Negotiate pricing when appropriate and follow up on backorders
- Schedule shipments, coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Work closely with the sales team to support upcoming projects and customer needs
What We’re Looking For
- Forklift experience (required)
- Inventory control or warehouse experience
- Comfortable using operating systems and inventory software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and think ahead
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate a loader is a strong plus
