Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Cook 2 at Brookstreet Hotel. As a Cook 2, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and guidelines. You will assist in the preparation and set up of the kitchen, ensure proper storage and labeling of food items, and maintain a clean and organized work area. This role requires working closely with the culinary team and following all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Experience in food preparation and cooking
Knowledge of different cooking techniques and food safety procedures
Ability to follow standardized recipes and guidelines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid Food Handler Certificate
Experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is a plus
