Purpose

:  Member of the finance team, reporting to CFO, that leads the operations of

diverse

areas of the business, to ensure that the company is being managed effectively and efficiently and according to a

company culture

with sustainable performance given the scaling nature of Signifi. Key Areas of Responsibility :  The incumbent is responsible for the following primary areas:

1. Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions

2. Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements in accordance with ASPE

3.

Financial Analysis

Strategic Planning

Experience and supporting CFO 4. Facilitate and lead year end audit process and create supporting controls and documentation to enhance readiness

5. Oversee and execute monthly, quarterly and year end close process

6. Provide management with insight and reporting into revenue and cost drivers, margin analysis, and customer profitability

7. Manage, motivate, coach, and develop the accounting team and provide structure to adhere to month-end close deadlines

8. Provide on-going analysis and decision support

9. Support development of performance management tools 10. Activity management and oversight of recurring revenue including account reconciliation and timely billing. 11. Oversee cash management planning of disbursements 12. Active lead with ERP implementation project and accounting system conversion Skills and Experience :

· CPA or enrolled in a professional accounting program in pursuit of a designation

· Understanding of business principles developed through multiple years of accounting experience and proven experience in a controller position… with exposure to manufacturing accounting

· Proficiency in Accounting system with current skills in computing technology, including Power Point, Word, Excel

· Expert knowledge of ERP systems for the optimal functioning of the business.

· ERP implementation and accounting system conversion

· Expert knowledge of bank reconciliations, subsidiary AR/AP listings, Fix Assets, Prepaid, Customer deposit ledgers.

· ERP savvy, know how to use it for decision making purposes.

· Cash planning skillset to help with insights for optimal cash disbursements. Qualities and Behaviors :

· Coordinates and ensures all bookkeeping functions including invoicing posting is complete by 2nd Wednesday of each month
