Role Description The Construction Worker role at RCS Membrane is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area. In this role, the Construction Worker supports daily construction activities including site preparation, material handling, installation tasks, and cleanup. Responsibilities may include assisting with Radon Poly foundation water proofing and insulation of site supervisors. The Construction Worker will use hand and power tools, follow construction plans and instructions, and help ensure that work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards. The role involves working outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions, collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Practical experience or training in construction and renovation, with the ability to assist in general building and repair tasks.
- Skills in Radon Poly and foundation water proofing
- Ability to conduct basic research on materials, tools, and methods to support effective and safe work practices.
- Comfort using hand and power tools, reading simple plans or instructions, and following safety procedures and regulations.
- Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather and site conditions.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and follow direction.
- Previous experience in construction or a related trade is an asset; relevant certifications (e.g., safety or equipment operation) are beneficial.
