Habermehl Contracting Limited is looking for a reliable and motivated Construction Site Service Technician to support our active residential and commercial renovation projects throughout Nova Scotia.
This position plays a critical role in keeping our job sites organized, supplied, safe, and productive. If you enjoy a variety of tasks, working independently, driving between job sites, and being part of a construction team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
- Site Support
- Perform site clean-up and ensure job sites remain safe and organized.
- Remove construction debris and dispose of materials properly.
- Assist project teams with general site support and operational needs.
- Material & Logistics
- Pick up and deliver construction materials to job sites.
- Coordinate and process material returns.
- Assist with moving tools, equipment, and supplies between projects.
- Support project teams with urgent material and service requests.
- Tools & Equipment
- Manage and maintain the company tool trailer.
- Track company tools and equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory systems.
- Perform basic tool and equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Warranty & Special Projects
- Assist with warranty-related service calls.
- Support deficiency corrections and project close-out activities.
- Assist with special company operations and projects as required.
- Facilities & Vehicle Support
- Maintain company storage units in a clean and organized condition.
- Assist with internal vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
- Help ensure company equipment is ready for daily operations
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Ability to lift and move construction materials safely.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in construction, logistics, delivery, warehousing, or maintenance.
- Experience operating trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of construction tools and materials.
