We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (Event Focused) located in Toronto.
What we do:
We build Museums, Science centres, Luxury sky resorts, public art installations, film and television sets, window dressing for high end retailers, pop-up shops, fashion events, corporate events and Live stage productions. These projects include interactive displays, games and mechanically operated parts which require a skilled team of designers to create, test and prove sustainability and longevity in the market place.

The Construction Project Manager will support the entire project life-cycle from initiation through completion, and will act as a key point of contact for clients. Key role will be to serve as the information centre for projects and provide other involved parties with key details, and alerting and briefing the other Construction Project Manager when issues arise on a project. In order to carry out this function successfully, the Construction Manager/ Event Production will need to become proficient with the Construction Project Manager software, and must enter and maintain all project information in the system.
Job Responsibilities:
· Overseeing completion of projects from assisting with quotations to completion of installations
· Create resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and schedules / timelines
· Assist in preparing purchase orders, invoice cost coding, change orders, subcontracts and revisions
· Arrange vendors and construction material deliveries for projects
· Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and client satisfaction
· Attend meeting, prepare presentations and oversee post mortems
· Other duties as required

Preferred Qualifications:
· Post secondary diploma/ certification
· 5+ year in an office environment
· 3-5 years experience as a Project Manager
· Construction/ fabrication and installation experience
· Excellent working knowledge, MS excel and MS word
· Comfort-ability with learning new software
Compensation
A competitive wage and benefits package will be provided to the chosen candidates
Pay: $38.50-$52.50 per hour
