Production Yard Supervisor Jobs in Zanesville, OH at Muskingum Iron & Metal
Muskingum Iron and Metal is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate production and operational activities. You will manage people and recycling equipment implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
Qualifications: Must have experience in management preferably in warehouse or outdoor yard environments. Someone who has managed, and excavation crew or construction site would be a good fit for this position. Must have experience operating or being around heavy outdoor equipment
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Organize and maintain inventory and recycling products
· Production Scheduling of people and equipment
· Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
· Communicate job expectations and train/coach employees
· Determine staffing levels and assign workload
· Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
· Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
· Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
· Maintain a safe working environment
