Field Technician Materials Testing (Wentzville)
Established Civil Engineering firm is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to assist in carrying out engineering investigations/material testing utilizing non-destructive technologies and field investigative procedures. The individual will serve as a project team member and assist with all aspects of project work under the direction of the department engineer performing routine assignments including: field investigations and sample testing. The ability to effectively use field inspection equipment and techniques associated with construction and materials testing is required. Exercise sound safety principles in day to day environment. Provide non-destructive testing in accordance with company requirements. Performing research, editing and verification of data related to job assignments. Maintain records of work accomplished and assist in the preparation of routine or special reports. Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned. Must be able to be covered by company auto insurance plan.
Min. Experience: No experience required
Min. Education Level- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering documents (prints, specifications, manuals etc)
- Must be able to lift 50 + lbs and be comfortable working in an outdoor environment
