Duties
- Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Install rebar and metal reinforcement as per schematics and blueprints to ensure structural integrity.
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and screeding machines to facilitate efficient pouring and finishing processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute concrete forms, layouts, and elevations.
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, material compaction, and concrete forming.
- Conduct quality checks during the finishing process to ensure smoothness, levelness, and proper curing of concrete surfaces.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing with a solid understanding of construction site procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, screeding equipment, and concrete mixers.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, concrete mix designs, concrete addatives, and technical drawings relevant to concrete projects.
- Knowledge of rebar installation, and other concrete reinforcements.
- Experience with construction estimating or renovation projects is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
