Job Summary
We are a contractor for Federal Express Corporation, seeking a motivated and dependable Company Driver to join our dynamic transportation team for the Milwaukee area.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks to transport freight efficiently and securely. Your expertise in commercial driving, route management, and vehicle handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation with a focus on Safety while being professional.
Duties
- Safely operate semi trucks with automatic transmission, often hauling double trailers
- Drive assigned routes adhering to schedules, traffic laws, and safety regulations to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Follow proper safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- 1 year verifiable tractor trailer experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with ability to obtain Doubles endorsements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving
- Must be willing to work overnight hours

Pay: $95,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
