Job description
The Community Host Support is based at Fogo Island Inn, supports the Community Host program through its designed schedule of activities for guests. The Community Host Support possesses respect and knowledge for the history and culture of rural Newfoundland, particularly for Fogo Island.
General responsibilities:
Reporting to the Community Host Services Manager
Support community host services team to plan guest experiences and the assigned community elements for specific events.
Support in all daily operational duties of community host program.
Prepare any necessary equipment and clothing in support of the Outdoor Adventure team along with all other outdoor activities.
Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite) and Class 5 driver’s license required.
Other responsibilities as directed by Management.

Has a combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability to perform the duties of the position
Is enthusiastic and friendly and has good communication skills, with a high level of commitment to providing an immersive guest experience
