Position Overview
City Glass Company is seeking an experienced Lead Commercial Glazier to join our team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled glazier who takes pride in quality workmanship, can lead jobs in the field, and wants to be part of a well-established and respected company.
We are the largest and oldest glass company in Colorado Springs outside the Denver Metro area, with a strong reputation for quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial glass systems including storefronts, curtain wall, doors, and hardware
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Lead and work alongside field crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Ensure installations meet company and industry standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and customers
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial glazing experience
- Ability to lift 80 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must have own hand tools
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- Must pass a drug screening
