CNC Press Brake Operator Jobs in Valley City, ND at Malach Metal and Machining USA
A CNC brake press operator must have good analytical and mathematical skills to interpret drawings, templates, and blueprints that accompany each work order. The job requires reading of different measurement tools to determine and apply principals of tolerances.
Job Duties:
- To perform all phases of CNC press brake operation and set up. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and diagrams to determine sequence of operations.
- Performs first-piece and in-process inspection by checking material thickness and dimensions of part per blueprint using calipers, tape measure and calculator.
- Understanding of Material Properties including material thickness and types.
- Resolves production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- High attention to detail and ability to inspect own work.
- Understand safe work practices.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to consistently work with parts up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
