CNC Operator/Production Team Member Jobs in Provo, UT at Sprout (Quark Enterprises)
Sprout is a lean manufacturer of wooden children’s furniture in Provo, UT. We are currently welcoming curious, caring, hard working people looking for a place to grow. This is not a run-of-the-mill production role. People who have been successful in this role in the past are invested in their growth. They are passionate about making things & understanding how machines work. They’ve done CAD or 3D modeling. They are willing to learn CNC programming & lean manufacturing methods in a small business setting.
$20.00 per hour, full time
7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday
Responsibilities
Packaging, shipping, tenoning, sanding, finishing, hardware installation, raw material retrieval, CNC machine operation, inventory management, & scrap management, all using standard processes & systems
Documentation, Standards Development, Identification of out-of-standard conditions, Root cause analysis, Application of countermeasures, Problem solving, System Improvement
Training, Mentoring, Giving feedback on trainings

- Ability to regularly lift on your own 45 pounds to waste height
- Ability to work with power tools
- Ability to work in an environment with a loud noise level
- Ability to work with regular exposure to dust and fumes
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours in 2 hour segments
- Ability to commute to Provo, UT 84601
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
