Duties

  • Perform routine inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance on CNC machines and associated equipment to maximize uptime and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and sensor-related issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ohmmeters, and calibration tools.
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as sensors, motors, drives, and circuit boards within CNC systems.
  • Utilize industrial electrician experience and knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems to diagnose electrical faults in distributed control systems and E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) setups.
  • Interpret schematics, AutoCAD drawings, and vision inspection system data to identify root causes of machine malfunctions.
  • Support field service activities by performing repairs on-site at manufacturing facilities or customer locations as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and system modifications to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a focus on CNC machinery or manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience including working with sensors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), Okuma software (or similar), and distributed control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, low voltage/high voltage systems, calibration procedures, vision inspection systems, and safety protocols related to high-voltage environments.
  • Familiarity with schematics drawing interpretation using AutoCAD or similar tools for troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Knowledge of military-grade equipment or experience working in military maintenance environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively.

Pay: $33.00 – $38.00 per hour
