The Senior Financial Clerk oversees the Ministry’s accounting systems (accounts payable/accounts receivable); develops, implements and maintains ministry specific account processing procedures; and ensures the integrity and maintenance of related financial records.

Job Requirements:

Secondary school graduationoran equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in accounts receivable or payable in a computerized environment.
Experience must include:

Providing exceptional customer service

Developing and maintaining financial systems, procedures and standards

Working as a member of a team

Using MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook

Preference may be given to applicants who have:

Completed post-secondary accounting coursework

Experience with CAS Oracle.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
