Healing Waves Counselling is a private practice and we are looking for someone to join our team. We work from a “therapist-first” model where the counsellors have flexible scheduling and check-ins to ensure their own mental health is put first.
This is an in person position.
We are looking for a dedicated person with:
- Master’s Degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Has 2+ years of experience as an RCC
- Is able to work with teens and youth
- Professional College membership or registration with a mental health association: BCACC
- Somatic attachment psychotherapy knowledge or education
- ADHD knowledge
- Available on evenings and weekends (3-8). This is a non negotiable
- Trained in EMDR
Candidate must have:
- Extensive ADHD knowledge
- Have over 2 year experience as an RCC (the time as an intern does not count)
