Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, residential, or industrial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and proper care to ensure a polished appearance.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively to meet sanitation standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities.
- Support special projects like deep cleaning or seasonal upkeep to ensure facilities remain in top condition.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties, or facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning procedures.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and extractors safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively.
