Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work, facilities maintenance, or commercial cleaning. This role requires strong time management skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and excellent communication abilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The Cleaner will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning supplies to create a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas
- Use hand tools and power tools for detailed cleaning and minor maintenance tasks
- Conduct facilities maintenance duties as needed to ensure operational safety and cleanliness
- Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or equipment to support cleaning operations
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning needs or safety concerns
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages or damages promptly
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Good communication skills to report issues or safety concerns promptly
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.45-$18.00 per hour
