Cleaner – Professional Office Buildings
Martin Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team maintaining professional office buildings, including City Place and the E.L. Bennett building.
This position involves cleaning tenant suites and common areas to a high standard while helping create a clean, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Shifts are primarily Monday to Friday during late afternoons and evenings, with occasional Saturdays required.
Responsibilities
- Clean assigned suites and common areas
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Restock janitorial and washroom supplies
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle products according to WHMIS standards
- Report maintenance concerns or suspicious activity
- Interact professionally with tenants and visitors
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
- Ability to provide a clean criminal background check, including Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance
