Classroom Support AssistantJob Description:Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide essential assistance in the classroom. This role involves supporting the educational and emotional needs of students, promoting a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall success of our school community.
Key Responsibilities
Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
Provide one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or additional needs.
Help manage behavior and promote positive relationships among students.
Prepare and organize learning materials and resources.
Supervise students during break times and outings.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff members to ensure the holistic development of students.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school environment.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development would be advantageous.
