This involves integrating the best available evidence into all aspects of surgical care, championing
continuous improvement
initiatives, and fostering a culture of

and excellence. The Chief will engage with a range of stakeholders and partners to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities for growth and development, ensuring the Program remains at the forefront of advancements in surgical practice, capacity management and surgical
education
.
In addition, the Chief will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational efficiencies and
resource management
, including optimal alignment with current and future funding models within the Surgery Program by implementing
innovative solutions
to manage case volumes and address ongoing capacity challenges, increased service demands, and meeting provincial wait time targets. Key
