CDA Level 2 Dental Assistant Jobs in London at Central Family Dentistry
Central Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced, friendly and dependable CDA II to join our busy family practice. We are a solo dentist, privately owned, non-corporate dental office that has been in the same building and location since the 1950s. We have a large patient retention and see multiple family generations.
The ideal candidate should have a well-balanced combination of clinical and personal skills with effective time management and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is professional, organized and can build trust and good rapport with our patients. (We actually know the names of our patients!)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting the dentist during procedures
- Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring patients feel at ease
- Taking digital radiographs
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining equipment following IPAC infection-control standards
- Explaining procedures to patients and discussing related costs
- Providing post-operative care instructions
Qualifications:
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant with active HARP Certification
- Valid First Aid/CPR
- Knowledge of Dentrix software is an asset
This is a full-time position with hours Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 5:00pm, closed Fridays, no evening or weekend hours.
Pay: $30.00-$34.50 per hour
