We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and promoting our products through engaging sales techniques. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process cash, card, and digital payments
- Handle cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
- Conduct product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise to enhance customer engagement
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Assist customers with product selection, returns, and exchanges while delivering outstanding customer service
- Keep track of inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple customers during busy periods
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Multilingual skills or bilingual proficiency (English and other languages) are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills for cash handling, and merchandising techniques are advantageous
- Experience in technology sales or product demos is beneficial for explaining features of technical products
- Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a professional appearance are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
