Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development & Systems Manager to lead company growth initiatives while improving and maintaining internal systems and processes. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and operational environments—equally comfortable building client relationships and optimizing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new commercial electrical project opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, and clients
- Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and presentations
- Track leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity
- Support branding and marketing initiatives
Internal Systems Development
- Evaluate and improve current business processes and workflows
- Implement and manage project management, CRM, and estimating systems
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Improve data tracking, reporting, and performance metrics
- Coordinate between office staff, field teams, and leadership
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or related industry preferred
- Background in business development, operations, or systems management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with software tools (CRM systems, project management platforms, estimating software)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
