Job Description
Senior BusinessSystems Analyst to join its eCommunications Surveillance Technology team in the Quantitative Technology Services QTS Data Cloud Compute stream
As a Global Bank operating in Markets and Retail business it is a regulatory requirement to perform surveillance of all communications channels within the bank Compliance sponsored electronic communication surveillance program is implemented to avoid the risk of regulatory fines due to any noncompliance
The roadmap for this program includes expanding the current coverage to RBCs multiple retail businesses that trade securities to meet the increasing regulatory expectations and scrutiny
Responsbility:
Partners with business stakeholders to elicit analyze and document workflows process flows data and document attribute requirements for Surveillance platform
Apply various Elicitation Techniques to gather requirements and regularly maintain the backlog
Translates requirements from various stakeholders into functional requirements for implementation of Development and Testing Teams
Develop Subject Matter Expertise and an end to end understanding of the various business process that support Surveillance Communication Archiving channel interface teams legal etc
Coordinate and partner with External Vendor Internal development teams to build solutions for business needs
Configure or provide Configuration Requirements to implement DataDocumentOrchestration Requirements in Smarsh or equivalent surveillance SaaS vendor
Participate Conduct or Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and Validation of Systems eg Creation of User Test Scripts Guided Walkthroughs with end users
Investigate and provide root cause analysis to various Defects and Change requests
Develop and maintain Training Materials for end users during System Roll out
Collaborate with Cross functional teams to improve end to end system processes
Participation in various Agile or Waterfall SDLC Rituals eg scrum grooming retrospect walkthroughs etc
Must Have
Business Analyst core skill set
oStrong Requirements gathering elicitation analysis validation documentation and maintenance skills
oUnderstands the need to breakdown requirements into manageable chunks Validates requirements with stakeholders
oExperience in using various elicitation techniques and knows whenhow to use the proper elicitation technique during requirements gathering sessions
oExperience in maintaining grooming the backlog
oExperience in creating BRDs or FRDs or User stories Creating process or Data flow Diagrams
oExperience in Stakeholder management
oExperience in Agile Business Analysis Tools such as JIRA Confluence
oMaintaining Requirements Traceability
oManifest an end to end understanding of a business process to understand business needs and identify areas of improvement
Systems Analyst core skill set
oDevelops a good understanding of the endtoend system flow that interacts behind a business process
oExperience in specifying and Articulating Process flows Data Mappings Systems interaction and Data integration requirements
oPartners with External vendor Development teams to build solutions for business needs
oPartners with other technology partners within the bank to agree on Integration requirements eg maintain data mappings flow document
Nice to Have
Bachelors degree in business administration Information Systems Computer Science or a related field
58 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst preferably within financial services or a related industry
Strong knowledge of compliance and eCommunications surveillance technology systems
Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies is preferred
Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced highpressured environment
