Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire aBusiness Analystto their team for an initial 12 months of contract which is renewable. This role is currently hybrid, 2 days a week in office in Toronto.
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct working sessions with business, technology, and operations subject matter experts (SMEs) to comprehensively understand and document system/process flows related to payment products such as Wires, ACH, EFT, and International Money Transfer.
Manage project deliverables to ensure timely completion and alignment with target timelines.
Oversee the agile delivery board for tracking project progress and milestones.
Prepare compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive and peer-level audiences, synthesizing complex information into clear and actionable insights.
Design and facilitate stimulation exercises to enhance resiliency and optimize operational efficiency.
Identify gaps in process assistance and collaborate with SMEs to develop enhancement options.
Qualifications:
Must Have Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial industry.
At least 3 years of specialized experience within Capital Markets, with a strong understanding of payment products such as Wires, ACH, EFT, or International Money Transfer.
Demonstrated proficiency in operational knowledge of payment processing protocols.
Strong expertise in MS Visio and PowerPoint for documentation and presentation purposes.
Experience working with Jira/Confluence for project management and collaboration.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Previous experience as a Business Analyst at a top 5 Bank in Canada.
Exposure to development or infrastructure operation areas within the financial sector.
