The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Our boutique specializes in gifts and home decor.

Duties

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by demonstrating product features and benefits.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are well-presented.
  • Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while providing receipts to customers.
  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader range of customers.
  • Proven sales skills with the capability to effectively sell products and services.
  • Experience in cash handling and operating cash registers accurately.
  • Ability to stock shelves efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.

  • Extreme care to detail, punctual, and ability to work assigned days consistently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.90 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
