Full job description
Horizon CPA is looking for a motivated individual to join our rapidly growing practice!
We service a wide geography of clients and industries through our online and technology-based platform. We have offices is located in Edmonton, Red Deer, & Trochu, AB.
This position will be tailored to fit the right person such that they have the qualifications and personal skills necessary to collaborate with our team and complete tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and payroll (Primarily QuickBooks Online)
AP & AR tasks including invoicing, vendor management and collections
Complete month end close procedures
Client onboarding and setup in tax management software
Assist with CRA correspondence and filings
Assist with client correspondence, growth, and retention
Assist partners with general practice tasks
Implement accounting software for clients
Competencies:
– Display motivated work ethic, problem solving, analytical and communication skills
– Value team atmosphere but also must be able to work independently
– Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple jobs simultaneously
Summary:
Compensation will directly correlate to skillsets and experience presented.
