We’re looking for experienced, creative, hard working and dynamic individuals to join our team!
Billings & Company, is a Café and Elevated Bar featuring craft coffee, wine, beer and cocktails with a small menu featuring fresh, healthy and seasonal ingredients. In addition to normal restaurant operations we will feature a retail shop with Craft beer and Wines as well as prepared foods (Fresh and Frozen).
In Hiring, we will prioritize personality over skill as we’re building a small cohesive team that works closely together. We’re looking for hard working people with a passion for working with and learning about coffee, wine, craft beer and fresh seasonal foods.
Billings and Company is applying to be a Living Wage Certified Employer. Which means that all full time staff are paid a living wage as determined for our region by the Ontario Living Wage Network. In addition to that wage, ALL staff will share tips equitably between all working employees in a transparent process available for your review.
Hours for this job will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings and Sunday Days (close at 3pm). Some flexibility is available but please let us know if you are unable to work these hours.
Duties for Back of House employees will include but are not limited to:
Prep menu items that to a high quality standard
Preparing food to order on the line ensuring food is prepared as instructed by the Chef
Running Food to the customers table
Maintaining a clean work space and organized kitchen overall (Prep area, All Fridges and Freezers etc.)
Washing Dishes
Opening duties for the Kitchen for the day
Closing duties for the Kitchen for the day
Inventory checklists
Daily Cleaning Checklist
Maintenance of Prepared Food section in retail space
Oversight of part time staff and Kitchen Assistants
Weekly Team Meetings
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.05-$22.00 per hour
