We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and match paints accurately to achieve the desired color and finish.
- Apply paint using airless paint spraying equipment, power tools, or hand brushes, ensuring even coverage and smooth textures.
- Perform auto body repairs such as welding, buffing, and detailing to restore vehicle integrity before painting.
- Operate auto glass removal and replacement tools as needed during the repair process.
- Conduct quality inspections of painted surfaces for consistency, color match, and finish quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in auto body painting with dealership or collision center background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding, buffing, and detailing.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and buffing machines.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when moving parts or equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair progress.
- Bilingual Preferred but not required
