Your Opportunity:
The Public Health Administrative Support III provides frontline administrative support within a community health center, including reception, client registration, appointment booking, switchboard operation, and health record maintenance. The role supports a variety of public health programs and may include Vaccine Depot Controller responsibilities such as managing vaccine inventory, ordering and distributing vaccines, maintaining cold chain requirements, and communicating vaccine availability. The position coordinates and prioritizes daily operational tasks to support efficient clinic and vaccine depot operations while communicating effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in an administrative or operational support role within public health or healthcare. Strong understanding of or ability to learn cold chain management principles. Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform physical requirements of the position, including lifting and carrying supplies up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Connect Care Training in Public Health Vaccine Coordinator, Ambulatory Front Desk Unit Clerk and Ambulatory Advanced Schegistrar with referrals Sub Role preferred. Recent Public Health experience preferred. Working knowledge or experience with vaccine management systems (AVI and Willow preferred).
