As an Assistant Driller at A Drilling Company you will:
- Load and transport equipment to worksites across Ohio and the surrounding states
- Work in teams of 2 to 3 to collect and document soil and rock samples
- All weather general labor (examples: manual excavation, repetitive lifting of 50-80 lb. augers, mixing concrete)
- Drive and operate drilling equipment and transport vehicles
- Maintain drilling equipment and tools
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
Role Requirements
- No prior experience is required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Travel required, up to 5 days per week with paid per diem
- Work 40 hours per week minimum with frequent opportunity for overtime and some additional opportunities for volunteer weekend work at a bonus
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check, DOT physical and drug screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
