We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and caring for trees, shrubs, and other landscape elements while ensuring safety and environmental standards are met. Responsibilities
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal using appropriate rigging techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment for elevated tree work
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, fertilizing, mulching, and pest management.
- Implement safety protocols during all operations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and on time
- Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition.
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in arboriculture or landscape maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant health care.
- Skills in rigging techniques for safe tree removal or pruning.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift devices safely.
- Strong commitment to safety
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including climbing ladders or working at heights.
- Experience working with a crane and operator for tree removals an asset
- Climbing experience and own gear an asset
- Valid driver’s license (DZ/AZ a huge asset); relevant certifications such as ISA Arborist Certification are advantageous but not mandatory. This position offers a rewarding career path for individuals passionate about arboriculture, landscape health, and environmental sustainability.

Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour
