Full-Time Kennel Caretaker (Client-Facing Role)
We are hiring a full-time caretaker for our working kennel. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position that combines hands-on animal care with direct client interaction.
This role is not just kennel work—you will be expected to confidently communicate with clients, conduct virtual visits, and help guide families through the process of selecting a dog.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and naturally outgoing, with the ability to represent our program professionally.
Schedule Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Full-time position (40 hrs)
- Must reliably work either Saturday or Sunday every week
Core Responsibilities:
Kennel Care:
- Daily care of parent dogs and puppies (feeding, monitoring, general health)
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, whelping areas, and equipment
- Administering medications and vaccinations as directed
- Maintaining accurate, detailed care records
- Supporting overall kennel cleanliness and organization
Client Interaction & Sales:
- Conduct virtual visits with prospective buyers
- Clearly communicate program details and available dogs
- Confidently guide clients through the selection process
- Provide a professional, positive experience that reflects our brand

- Outgoing and personable — you genuinely enjoy talking with people
- Comfortable on camera and able to lead virtual client interactions
- Strong communicator who can build trust and close sales
- Team player who works well in a small, accountable environment
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Highly reliable — attendance and consistency are critical
- Able to follow structured systems and detailed protocols
Compensation & Bonus Opportunity:
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)

This Role Is NOT a Fit If You:
- Prefer minimal interaction with people
- Are uncomfortable with sales or client conversations
- Cannot reliably work a weekend day every week
- Are looking for a low-activity or indoor-only job
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
