AGV / Electric Forklift Technician
Overview
Working as anAGV Technician, you will be reporting to our Maintenance Team, a group of Skilled Trade professionals. You will play a vital role in supporting production within our Just-In-Time lean manufacturing environment. We are looking for hands-on problem solvers who are safety oriented – believe in teamwork and continuous improvement. Here at TG Minto we want you to grow and help us think bigger!
You will be working to maintain our current operating systems and improve our recovery times. Our AGVs play a critical role in our production, and as such we need them to be a primary focus to ensure they are running at top efficiency. Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 (Afternoons) & +$1.00 (Night Shift)

Duties and Responsibilities
Removes unsafe equipment from facility operating area and notifies supervisor.
Tests AGVs to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
Schedules and performs routine maintenance for AGVs
Ensures batteries for electric forklift trucks are fully charged as well as AGVs.
Repair/Trouble shoot chargers for Forklifts and AGVs
Maintain maintenance logs for equipment
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs AGV, charging stations, and control systems.
Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and performs required preventive maintenance actions as outlined by the AGV manufacturer.
Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains AGV control systems.
Demonstrates ability to utilize meggers, voltmeters, multi-meters, etc.
Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and automation issues.
Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner and completes maintenance reports as required.
Performs preventive maintenance on AGVs as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
