JOB OVERVIEW

The Deal Management Office (DLM) is dedicated to the procurement and end-of-term actions associated with high-value contracts. The DLM is focused on strategic IT/IM procurement projects that extend to and impact the entire BC Public Service. Comprised of several project teams, the DLM strives to be a collaborative and innovative workplace on the cutting edge of strategic procurement.

In this exciting role you’ll have the opportunity to work with a high performing team on several large-scale projects. As the project administrator you’ll be responsible for providing technical project management coordination throughout the project management life cycle (i.e., initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out). Bring your innovation, organizational skills and enthusiasm to this brand-new office!

Job Requirements:

Diploma in project management or a related field and 6 months related experience;OR

Certificate or coursework in project management and 1-year related experience;OR

Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 2 years related experience;OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience includes the following:

Experience providing project management support services.

Experience using project management software, systems, and methodology.

Experience with project management principles and practices.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
