Administrative Assistant The Legal Information and Resource Network (LiRN) is a not-for-profit organization that funds and sets the strategic direction for courthouse libraries in Ontario.

We are looking for an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to join our small and collegial team on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). This position is remote with occasional in person meetings in Toronto required.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and highly organized with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Organize internal, external, and Board meetings, including managing materials and travel arrangements when necessary.

Track, follow up on, and consolidate reports from the libraries we fund.

Proactive keep our communications database up to date.

Communicate with stakeholders, including answering routine questions and sending routine communications.

Manage our administrative email inbox as well as their own inbox.

Process invoices, including reviewing for accuracy and prepping for signature.

Perform basic website maintenance for our Word Press site, including posting pre-written material and flagging out of date materials.

Assist with our professional development curriculum delivery, including in-person attendance at our annual conference in Toronto. Execute other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years experience working as an administrative assistant in a professional setting.

Experience working

in or with libraries, particularly law libraries, is an asset. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent written and spoken

communication skills

.

Ability to

multi-task and prioritize tasks according to their importance and urgency. Demonstrated thoroughness and

attention to detail

.

High proficiency with MS Office Suite and Microsoft 365.

Experience working

with Boardable, Canva, Wordpress, or Member press is an asset. LiRN is committed to
