Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented AP Specialist to support accounts payable operations and cash management for our Canada business.
This role is responsible for ensuring payment accuracy through 3-way matching review, managing daily cash activities, and supporting cross-functional coordination to resolve discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable Review & Payment Accuracy
- Review 3-way matching results (PO, invoice, receipt) to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Validate vendor, seller, and operational payments prior to processing
- Identify discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve issues
- Ensure all payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner
2. Vendor & Cross-functional Coordination
- Follow up on Credit Memos with PM and relevant stakeholders
- Communicate proactively with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal partners
3. Cash Management
- Manage daily cash activities and monitor bank balances
- Prepare and maintain short-term cash forecasts
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs
- Support treasury-related reporting as needed
4. Process & Control
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit trail for all transactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of AP or accounting experience
- Experience with 3-way matching and high-volume transactions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in Chinese, Mandarin and English
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
