Our client is looking for an Accountant to join their team. They are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting and fund accounting. We’re looking for detail-oriented candidates with strong organizational skills who can work independently on multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Ensure accuracy in fund accounting, full cycle accounting, and consolidation processes, including cash receipt entries and account reconciliations.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger integrity.
Efficiently resolve customer inquiries and internal departmental issues.
Update insurance information and manage cancellations.
Oversee client billing, ensuring timely updates.
Manage account payment histories for financial accuracy.
Calculate and validate loan/lease payments, addressing discrepancies.
Handle lease terminations, including buyouts and defaults.
Compile and distribute daily management reports.
Safeguard sensitive information to protect organizational value.
Assist in corporate and personal tax return preparation.
Manage tax remittances and ensure compliance.
Set up and maintain loan records in dedicated software.
Conduct compliance reporting as required.
Maintain general ledger and reconciled bank statements.
Support organizational objectives with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or relevant field, with 3+ years of accounting experience.
Proficient in GAAP, Fund, Consolidation, and Full Cycle accounting.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and deadline management skills.
Able to produce and manage daily management reports efficiently.
Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Collaborative team player with ability to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as accounting software.
