Abrams is a leading towing and recovery company providing 24/7 roadside assistance, heavy-duty towing, vehicle recovery, and transportation services. We are looking for an experienced 310T Licensed Truck & Coach Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of tow trucks, wreckers, heavy-duty recovery units, and support vehicles. The position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of vehicles in a dynamic environment, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain light, medium, and heavy-duty tow trucks and recovery equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and annual safety certifications.
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, PTO systems, electrical systems, air brakes, and drivetrains.
- Repair and maintain towing and recovery equipment including winches, booms, wheel lifts, and underlift systems.
- Complete service records, inspection reports, and work orders accurately.
- Respond to emergency fleet breakdowns when required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with MTO and company standards.
Qualifications
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician License.
- Minimum 2 years of heavy truck repair experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with tow trucks, heavy-duty trucks, or vocational equipment is an asset.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Valid G driver’s license (DZ or AZ license considered a strong asset).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
