Full time permanent 12 hours rotating Day / Night Our client is a leading manufacturer in the food industry. They have a job opening for a 2nd class power engineer . Candidates must have 2nd Class Power Engineering license. This is a
hands-on
maintenance role . The role is based Strathroy – London – Woodstock. This is a 12-hour rotating shift , eligible for OT.
Criminal check will be conducted at the end of the process. 2nd Class Power Engineer is responsible for the facility equipment.
You will
ensure that the plant is operational under the regulatory requirements laid out by TSSA.
You will
conduct plant inspections for ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and compressed air, water and ventilation systems, ensure all logbooks and records are maintained.
You will
proactively run
continuous improvement
programs for energy saving and undertake all capital projects.
You will
ensure health and safety and ensure all facility equipment efficiency KPIs are being met. Power engineer will remain the point of contact for all government liaison related to ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air etc.
You will
analyse equipment history to conduct gap analysis and implement projects to improve efficiencies.
2nd Class Power Engineer must have a valid TSSA 2nd class license with good
communication skills
