Steps 2 Success is a 9-week employment program inMississaugathat assistsyouth aged 15-30with barriers to employment. The program commences with5 weeks of workshop trainingthat you are paid to attend. This training is in-person at our office, located near Eglinton & Centennial Park. During the first 5 weeks of the program, you will develop employment and self-development skills through workshops and team-building experiences on many different topics including goal-planning, resume writing, interviews, and customer service. Following these initial 5 weeks, you will be supported by facilitators in finding anentry-level job(i.e. hospitality, food service, factory/warehouse, grocery stores, retail, etc).
The program beginsApril 29th, 2024.
Eligibility criteria:
YOU MUST be a resident of the GTA and a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
YOU MUST be between the ages of 15-30.
YOU MUST not be currently employed (even part-time) or registered to attend school in the near future.
YOU MUST be willing to work 30+ hours per week.
YOU MUST have a laptop with a working webcam and microphone that can run Zoom. Being on camera during virtual workshops is mandatory!
YOU MUST be willing to come Monday-Friday to our office located near Eglinton Ave W & Centennial Park Blvd

Salary: From $16.55 per hour
