Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasonal reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support the efficient operation of our distribution center and warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
– Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
– Load and unload trucks using forklifts
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area
– Assist with inventory management and tracking
– Follow safety guidelines and adhere to OSHA regulations
– Collaborate with warehouse supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
