Rentco Equipment Ltd. is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for 60 years. We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables in the areas. We are currently looking for a Full-time Yard Hand based out of our Grande Prairie Head Office shop. As the Yard Hand, you are responsible for: Providing excellent customer service by assisting with the loading, testing, demonstrating proper usage, and servicing of a vast equipment line that includes bobcats, loaders, generators, man-lifts, etc. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the yard and equipment Notifying Supervisor of any equipment defects You have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: General knowledge of construction and oilfield equipment Mechanical experience is an asset Hardworking team player Customer service skills Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work with your hands and lift heavy objects Ability to work while wearing PPE required including steel-toed boots and safety glasses Rentco Equipment offers you: Competitive wages Comprehensive benefits RRSP/DPSP program Stable, year-round employment with great hours (Monday to Friday and a weekend rotation) Employee discount and free rentals Promote from within policy Employee referral bonus
