As Xradar’sConcrete Scanning Technician – Trainee,you will have the opportunity to gain experience and grow your career in construction. As a Concrete Scanning Technician – Trainee, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Utilizing GPR with Xradar’s technology to locate and map the position of post-tension cables, rebar, and electrical conduits located in concrete
Employing drilling techniques to make holes and openings in concrete structures
Exposure to fieldwork – you’ll get to know our city intimately by visiting a wide range of construction projects
Preparation of job sites and equipment set up, as well as necessary clean-up and maintenance of tools
Completion of job summary reports for client review
On your resume, we will be looking for the following:
1 year of experience working in a labour or construction role
Valid Drivers’ License to use company vehicles as necessary
Strong computer skills, and expertise in AutoCAD and GPS is a significant asset

Training wage of $25.20 – $28/Hour DOE. On completion of training you will be raised to $28.40 – $32 DOE. Wages rise there after with experience, responsibilities and skills.
