About The Position
Reporting to the Assistant Superintendent – Career Development, Innovation and Teacher Education, the Work Education Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating the Work Education and Student Leadership programs throughout the Division and assisting with related curriculum development.

What You Bring
- Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in program coordination/management in an education environment.
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in a student service area, i.e. Counselling, Work Education, Adult Education, Career Counselling, and Personal Development Counselling.
- Working knowledge of current work education technical developments and software packages available to program service delivery.
- Knowledge of Manitoba Education and Training curriculum programming.
- Demonstrated experience with curriculum development/curriculum implementation.
- Knowledge of workplace and employment trends.
- Knowledge of workplace and safety regulations, related labour regulations and knowledge of liability insurance.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with administrators, teachers and other consultants to promote the Work Education Program and Student Leadership
- Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid Manitoba driver's license and ability to travel including overnight, and flexible work hours as necessary.
- Proven commitment to ongoing professional learning
- Proficiency in a variety of computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
