APPLICANT MUST HAVE CERTIFICATE OR DIPLOMA IN FINE WOODWORKING OR DIRECT EXPERIENCE
We are the market leader in Southern Ontario for manufacturing custom wood trim and wood doors. We have been in business for over 25 years, and we have grown into a prominent company in our industry servicing our clients locally as well as internationally.
Duties:
General woodworking duties include; milling, shaping, cutting, sanding, assembling & packaging wood doors.
Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made, or prepare specifications;
Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components;
Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints;
Sand wooden surfaces and apply mouldings.
Assist in door production with assembly/machining of door shop components as directed by schedule;
Ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed.
Qualifications:
Some experience in solid wood manufacturing is preferred
Some experience required operating; shapers, tablesaws, ripsaws, jointers, mitresaws, planers & sanders
Dedication to safety and safe practice;
A team player that can model excellent work ethic;
Good communication skills; written and verbal
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to work independently with little supervision;

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
