We are hiring customer-facing Windshield Repair Sales Technicians at daytime roadside locations throughout Northern Utah.

No prior windshield repair experience is required. We provide training for all technical repair skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on technician role with a meaningful customer service and sales component.

Customers typically come to us because they already have a problem they want solved. Your role is to: communicate professionally and confidently

SERVICES YOU’LL HELP PROVIDE

  • Rock chip repairs
  • Long crack repairs
  • Headlight restoration
  • Scheduling windshield replacements
  • Professional customer assistance and communication

SCHEDULE

  • Daylight hours
  • Flexible but consistent scheduling
  • Monday–Saturday operation
  • Typically 4–6 days per week
  • Full-time preferred

Most shifts are approximately: four 10-hour shifts

or

  • five 8-hour shifts

Some flexibility may be available depending on location and availability.

This role requires reliable daytime availability and consistent physical presence during scheduled shifts.

PAY STRUCTURE

  • $10/hour guaranteed base pay
  • Commission on every repair completed
  • 100% of tips
  • Approximately $15–$20/hour average total earnings over the course of a shift, with top-performing sales-oriented technicians earning significantly more

During active repair periods, effective earnings while performing work are often significantly higher due to commissions and tips.

THE SALES COMPONENT

You are both the technician and the customer-facing representative.

This is not high-pressure sales. Customers are typically already interested in solving a problem, but many are in a hurry and making quick decisions.

Successful technicians are able to: explain services clearly

  • communicate professionally
  • answer questions confidently
  • overcome common objections calmly
  • think quickly in customer interactions
  • help customers feel comfortable and informed

Sales experience is a strong plus, but not required.

Candidates with strong communication skills, confidence, initiative, and an outgoing personality often perform very well even without prior industry experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including hot summers and cold winters.

The role may involve: standing for extended periods

  • climbing onto vehicle tires when necessary
  • leaning over windshields
  • supporting body weight during repairs
  • physically active movement throughout the shift

Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

No heavy lifting is typically required, but the role does require stamina, balance, and comfort working outdoors.
