Get Custom Blinds & Shutters, located in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a full-time Installer for blinds, shades, shutters and motorized window coverings. Installations will be for larger commercial projects. Position will be reporting directly to Finance Manger and is located in Abbotsford, BC.
Individual must be self-motivated, organized and have great attention to detail as well as be able to manage a small team of installers to complete commercial projects. Individual must be comfortable in a collaborative and fast paced environment and be able to problem solve quickly in order to complete jobs without compromising quality.
Must also be able to work independently in order to manage their time efficiently within the allotted time for each job.
Previous window covering and installation and he ability to read blueprint is an asset. Willing to train suitable candidate with senior finishing or carpentry experience.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Communicating with commercial Clients
Providing site measurements
Organize and handle commercial Projects
Provide commercial quotes for Projects
Manage Junior Installer & Installation times on google calendar
Liaison with site supervisors/owners and salesperson
Attend client safety orientation for commercial jobs as required
Attend training on products as required
Pick up product from warehouse or manufacturer
Deliver product to job site
Sort product at job site to specified locations
Install or supervise product Installations at job site and troubleshoot any issues
Ensure site is clean before leaving
Position will involve lifting and carrying window covering products. Individual must be physically fit.
Wage based on candidate. Must have a valid drivers license.
Position is immediate.
